Membership

Membership pays for the parts that cost something to run. The library is not one of them.

Founding member

8 dollars a month

Or 72 dollars a year, which is three months back.

The price you join at is the price you keep, for as long as you keep the membership, whatever the price becomes later. There is no deadline on that and no limited number of places. It is not a launch offer. It is how the rate works.

What membership includes

  • A member profile, and the patriot ancestors you record on it.
  • The member directory, searchable by name, state and patriot ancestor.
  • The civic tools as they open: representative lookup, bill tracking, and a local calendar.
  • The rate you join at, held for as long as you keep the membership.

What it does not include

  • The library. Every document is free to read, signed in or not.
  • The chapter directory. Also free, and drawn from public sources.
  • Any claim about your lineage. Nothing you record here is verified by us or by anyone else.
  • Any standing in the Sons of the American Revolution, which is a separate organisation.

The roll is not open yet

There is nothing to sign here today. When the roll opens, this page will say so plainly and take the price before it asks for anything else. Membership will cancel from your own account page, in one step, without writing to anyone.

Not ready to join, or not interested in the member side at all? The library is yours either way, and you can give what it is worth to you.
